My name is Camri Anderson. Yes, like the car! I grew up in a small town in Illinois with my parents and my dog, Sparkles.
Ever since I can remember, I have loved the art of performing.
From dance recitals to living room concerts while watching
American Idol
to being in theatre productions,
performing is something that I fell in love with
at a young age
My second act started at
Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri,
where I received a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre
in May of 2022.
While at Stephens,
I served as president of my sorority, Kappa Delta,
and was an advocate for
the new Performing Arts Conservatory.

My third act started three weeks (haha irony) after
I graduated, when Dollywood called.
I worked as an entertainer
being "friends" with a number of characters
(Harvey and I are besties).
When I'm not in season,
I enjoy going to area schools
to teach master classes and talk with students
about what a career in the performing arts is like.
Besides being a performing arts advocate,
I enjoy traveling, yoga, reading
color coding my planner, and enjoying an iced coffee.
Even before I got my call from Dollywood,
my motto was W.W.D.D.
(What Would Dolly Do)
As queen Dolly once said:
"I'm not going to limit myself just because people won't
accept the fact that I can do something else."
